Step 1: Needs Assessment
Briefly and confidentially let us know the type of help you need. This is easily done in a short conversation on the telephone with one of our Client Services Representatives. They will be assigned to help you each step of the way. They will not ask you specific questions about your invention, just general questions that will help us identify the right attorneys for you.

Step 2: Matching Process
The matching process begins by reviewing the requirements we gathered in Step 1 with the resumes of Intellectual Property Attorneys with in our database. Each attorney is different and helping you find the right one is an important step in successfully protecting your idea. Did you know there are more than 25,000 to choose from? We look at education, experience, location and more in our search for your Attorney. Once complete, we email you detailed profiles of each of the Attorneys we’ve matched you to.

Step 3: Phone Consultations
By this Step, we’ve screened three Attorneys for you and provided you with their resumes, so you know they are trustworthy and competent. The final step is to choose an Attorney you feel comfortable with. You also want to make sure your attorney fully understands your innovative idea. The best way to do this is to call each of the Attorneys for a phone consultation. Explain your idea to them. Get some advice. Is it unique? Is it patentable? What is the plan? What will it cost? Then hire the Attorney you like best.
